Betway’s former US casino footprint
Super Group’s reporting describes DGC USA online casino gaming in New Jersey and Pennsylvania under the Betway and Jackpot City licenses during 2024. This historical footprint must not be read as proof of a current Betway-branded casino in those states.
The sportsbook business and casino business were separate strands of the US market presence. The sportsbook exit decision came first; remaining interactive casino operations were reviewed later.
Rebrand and completed exit
According to the company’s 2025 annual filing, the US casino offering continued into 2025 and included a Betway-to-Spin Palace rebrand in March. The company then decided to exit its remaining US interactive gaming operations, and the closure was completed.
Current-status test: Historic brand licenses, rebrand announcements and game screenshots should not be used to advertise a live Betway USA casino after the reported exit.
What the old casino category involved
The former regulated iGaming offerings included familiar online casino categories such as slots and table-style games from third-party suppliers. The exact title library changed over time, and game counts from historical filings are not a current catalogue.
We do not claim to have conducted first-hand current play-testing of a discontinued US Betway product. Such a claim would be misleading.
Casino, social casino and sweepstakes are different
A regulated real-money online casino, a purely entertainment-oriented social casino and a social casino with a promotional sweepstakes system have different participation frameworks. Shuffle.us uses its own Gold Coins and Shuffle Cash model, with separate eligibility and redemption rules.

A current game-selection checklist
- Determine which gaming model you are comparing.
- Verify the actual operator and current state eligibility.
- Read the currencies, game rules and any prize redemption conditions.
- Confirm support, age-verification and account restriction tools.
- Avoid relying on screenshots with outdated brand promotions.
For broader educational context, the planned Social Casino Games hub will explain the distinct game categories.
